Soccer Mom

So my son is starting his first sport this year which is soccer. He loves to run and loves to play so we thought this would be great for him and so far it has. They practice once a week and have games coming up starting on tuesday. What is more exciting is that I will get to see him play which is HUGE for me since I have missed so much being deployed. His father is coaching him this year which is also exciting for me because I love for them to get as much time together as possible since we both work so much during the week and it really is great to see them together. Since I have been gone I must say that they have really grown up together I can see just how much my husband has taught him and just how much their relationship has grown as father and son and it just makes me very proud. So I am officially a soccer mom :-)

So besides my family the only other thing that has gotten me through these 15 months is MUSIC. So I had to make a playlist of the many songs that have kept me going daily. Not in any particular order.

Health Care Reform

So I have been trying to read all that I can on healthcare reform. Still don't have a full understanding of how it will work so I am going to continue to do my research. I do know that something is better than nothing, but I will have to get back to you with my thoughts on it later once I have a full understanding. So I am off to figure it out. This could take a while or maybe not

Amber

Just had to let you all know I love Amber Rose :-). Many people have been hating on her hard in the past few weeks especially since she was seen topless on the beach with Kanye. Russell even had to write a blog defending her and the haters still were doing what they do best. I feel that like many other women who clearly don't give a damn what people have to say they always get the hate the most. If you don't like her then why the hell are you on every site hatin on her just don't bother to check up on her! I say go girl it's your birthday (Jeremih voice) she has the swag that most wish they had and I hope that she continues to ignore the hate and live her life with or with out Kanye. Much love Amber! 

14 Months and counting

Here is a pic of me after preparing our equipment to go home! So I have been in Iraq now for almost 14 months!!! Ready to get back to the real world and back to my family both in Germany and in the states. Ready to move on to bigger an better things. While this has been a fun and sometimes not so fun deployment I am more than ready to wear regular clothes and eat real food haha! Miss you and and will see you all soon.  Stay positive and think and dream big!!
